Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Salted butter softened
  • 1 cup White granulated sugar
  • 1 cup Light brown sugar
  • 2 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3 cups All purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp cream of tartar optional
  • 2 cups Chocolate Chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

  2. Line your baking sheet with parchment paper.

  3. Grab a large bowl (this is for your wet ingredients), mix the softened butter and sugars (brown and white) until combined.

  4. Add vanilla extract and eggs, mix.

  5. In a large bowl (this is your 'dry ingredient' bowl), mix flour, baking soda, cream of tartar (optional),baking powder. Set to the side.

  6. Grab your dry bowl and slowly combine it into the wet ingredient bowl mixing thoroughly.

  7. Add the chocolate chip cookies.

  8. Use a cookie scooper or use 2-3 Tablespoons of cookie dough to roll your cookies and put them evenly spaced on parchment paper.

  9. Bake cookies for 8-10 minutes, when they are just barely getting brown. It's usually closer to 8 minutes for me.

  10. Continue to let the cookies bake and rest on the cookie pan for about 3 mins.
