Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 medium diced onion
  • 6 cups water
  • 2 cups dry brown lentils
  • 1.5 tablespoons vegetable base
  • 2 cups kale
  • 1 cup diced carrots
  • 1 cup diced celery
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 8 ounces tomato sauce

Instructions

  1. Add olive oil to pan and sauté your diced onions on medium heat for 3 to 5 minutes.


  2. Add 6 cups of water--wait for water to boil.

  3. Add 2 cups of washed lentils beans.

  4. Stir in 1.5 tablespoons of vegetable base.

  5. Stir in 1 teaspoon of Coriander powder.

  6. Add your final ingredients, kale, diced carrots, diced celery, diced tomato, and tomato sauce.

  7. Wait for items to boil for 3 minutes and then cover and put it on low for 20 minutes.
