***UPDATED OCTOBER 2020** I added new songs to the list for a TOTAL OF 16 Christian songs to help you get through a miscarriage or pregnancy loss.**
Its officially been 2 years after my miscarriage. If you don’t know my story, you can read it HERE. Sometimes it still feels like just yesterday.
I am sitting here listening to my “pregnancy loss” playlist, it’s the playlist I religiously listened to after I had my last miscarriage two years ago. I was suppose to be writing about an “update” 2 years after my miscarriage, but here I am knee-deep in music 🎶.

There is something very cathartic about just closing your eyes and listening to relatable lyrics in a song. When a song has the right words and can speak to you, its felt in the soul.
There is something about music that feels so healing. To think, someone else went through the same thing and we’re not so alone after all is comforting.
I haven’t listened to this playlist in a while, but as I listen to all of these songs (sobbing, obviously) it brings back so many painful memories of a very difficult time in my life.

Although, its painful to think about, it’s also cathartic.
I am reminded of God’s faithfulness as I periodically look over to my phone to monitor my son’s Owlet readings.
DESPITE, my very painful circumstance. God has held me. He lifted me up when I felt like I couldn’t go on. And I pray he does the same for you.
On a related note, my five-year old is currently attending Vacation Bible School for the first time ever and she came home shouting, “Even when life is unfair, God is good!”.
Out of the mouth of babes, right?
It’s a great reminder for me as I delve into, “the week I found out our baby didn’t have a heartbeat”.
I hope you can find comfort through these songs.

I just created a “painlist” based on your suggestions. I can’t wait to be able to have some time (alone) to listen and cry out to Jesus for comfort and healing.
Despite not wishing the loss of a baby on anyone, I always pray that this experience will continue to make me more sensitive to those who have or will experience loss, perhaps including those I love dearly.
Thank you!
Blessings,
Priscila
